About Rodeo Electric

Rodeo Electric was formed in 2010 by Josh Harmon, a 4th generation Master Electrician. Josh started in the trade in July, 1998 working in the Denver, CO area for a small company doing renovations on historic homes.  As his skills increased so did his drive for knowledge. After a year in the residential field he moved on to wiring commercial and industrial projects.  All the while going through trade school at night. Some of the projects he has worked on were Coors Brewing Company, Lowes stores, Verizon Wireless computer rooms, high rises in downtown Denver, CO, Colorado State University, retail stores, and light rail stations. From there, Josh took the show on the road working in the electrical field while competing in PRCA Rodeos as a bareback and saddle bronc rider.  While in Eads, Colorado, an elderly couple could not find an electrician to help rewire their old farmhouse that desperately needed it to be safe to live in.  Josh was just the man for the job.  From that point on Josh knew when he settled down, he wanted to open his own electrical company and name it Rodeo Electric.  When he finally settled down in Sayre, Oklahoma he knew this was where he would open up Rodeo Electric.  While in Oklahoma he was blessed enough to help many customers from doing residential work to commercial work and schools and other retail facilities. He also helped in the oil field and grain industries.

With Josh’s superior electrical ability along with his love for the cowboy culture it was an easy decision to make the move of his main office to the cowboy capital of the world Stephenville, Texas in 2018.  Once he got to Stephenville, he knew he would never leave.
